The
Orlando Regional Realtor Association and GURU NETworks announced they are
signing up local Realtors, vendors and real-estate office personnel to use
GURU’s HomeTrack transaction management system.
HomeTrack
aims to accelerate and enhance the residential real estate transaction by
offering buyers, sellers, agents, brokers and third-party suppliers access to a
secure Web site where they can communicate, exchange documents and share data
during the transaction.
Association
President Ron Acker said the number of Realtors using HomeTrack increased
five-fold overnight following a recent demonstration of the product.
"We
have been working on the release of HomeTrack for more than a year, and it is
outstanding to see local Realtors embrace the technology. These frontrunners
are foreseeing what we all know is inevitable, that all real estate
transactions will soon be handled this way,” said Acker, broker/owner of RE/MAX
200 Realty.
The
HomeTrack System is based on Synteleos’ transaction management network and will
be demonstrated at the National Association of Realtors Midyear Expo in
Washington, D.C., next month.
