San
Francisco—Guru Networks, a software and technology service provider for the
real estate industry, launched three new products—g3Enterprise, g3Association
and g3MLS—that expand on the technology used for its g3 transaction management
platform.
Transaction management systems manage every piece of a real estate transaction
from listing to closing and enable everyone involved in the transaction to
communicate and view documents at any time.
The g3Enterprise system enables realty brokers to build on Guru’s existing
g3 platforms and fully customize back-office functions like accounting, employee
benefit plans, commissions and marketing, CEO Ike Broaddus said here today
at Inman News’ Real Estate Connect 2003 conference.
The g3Enterprise system also integrates real-time multiple listing service
feeds, a centralized lead management function and virtual office Web sites.
Century 21 Access America, a 400-agent brokerage in Connecticut, this
week signed a deal with Guru to migrate to the full Enterprise product, according
to Broaddus.
The added functions of the Enterprise system target large, multiple-office
brokerages. The full system costs about three times more than the basic transaction
management platform, and wouldn’t pay off for a single-office company with
less than 50 sales agents, Broaddus said.
C21 Access America merged at least six companies into one regional brokerage
and will use g3Enterprise to thread the offices together, he said. The company
installed the Enterprise predecessor g3Direct in September 2002 with the
intention of moving to the full Enterprise system.
Broaddus said it will take the company three to six months to fully integrate the product into its existing platform.
The g3Association product targets Realtor associations that want to offer
forms and other customized services to members. The g3MLS product adds transaction
management functionality to an MLS and allows subscribers to pull the listing
data directly into their transactions.
